The Sabotage Manifesto

Sabotage Theatre exists to make brave, original theatre.

We believe live theatre is a precious and irreplaceable experience. It is a tool to help us connect with our humanity and interrogate societal norms and expectations.

We believe more people should have access to live theatre.

We believe theatre should be affordable for all.

We are feminists.

We believe we have a responsibility to challenge and ask questions.

We take a fearless and disciplined approach to creating professional plays which provoke, entertain and engage.

We love nature and the countryside and this feeds into our work - in its creation and delivery. (Read our Environmental Sustainability Policy to find out more).

We pride ourselves in resourcefulness and utilise recycled materials in our design.

Sabotage celebrates the audience; intelligent, volatile and critical.

Sabotage celebrates the moment; unique, vulnerable and priceless.
